How to Deal with a Charming Chickenhawk



Occasionally, some of the war mongering chickenhawks might otherwise have charming personalities. If you ever start to feel sorry for one of these cowardly war pigs, if you start feeling guilt for ridculing them, remember what Neil says:

It isn't like norse is some sort of inscrutable cypher on here. It's part of his puppy charm. He's an idiot and he wears it on his sleeve. To slap him is to slap someone who is, in a sense, defenseless (not that this would slow me down even one iota). Perhaps in different life, norse would have turned out alright. But his inability to empathize is what drives that moronic, "Air drop me and mah mules into Eye-Rack and we'll keel them all, uh huh, uh huh."

Not to limit the damage to norse, because his is simply one of the hydra-heads of current day Rethuglofacism; the others on mellow's list are just as bad. They are demonstrably unable to understand why some brown-skinned "foreigner" of a different religion would rather live in THEIR OWN police state than under the heel of the All-Conquering 'Merkin Military. These clowns don't understand why someone who was tortured at the hands of Americans, or whose relatives were, or whose children were killed, maimed, burned, or kidnapped by Americans would want to kill Americans.

Seriously. How fucking stupid can they be and still breathe?

Besides, mellow nails it. It isn't their inhuman support for an inhuman war that drives such an ugly, visceral backlash. It's their bullshit, macho, penis-compensating stance that if only THEY were there, shit would be vastly different. They'd kill all the ragheads. They blow up all the mosques. They'd torture anyone they could find. They'd shoot praying infants in the head. Whatever grotesquerie comes to mind. They are "showing their ass" as my aunt would say. And they more than deserve having it handed to them.
